Reports To: Director FLSA Classification: Non-exempt, classified Full Time/Part Time Status: Part Time Regular/Temporary: Temporary Salary: Hourly Framework,  Range: $30.00 per hour. Application Opening Date: 6/22/26 Application Closing Date: 06/30/26

JOB SUMMARY

The Summer Camp Lead is responsible for coordinating the staff and students for our summer programs.

Duties include

Services typically include supporting staff and students in summer school programming. This is a short-term position for summer programming only.

The ideal candidate would possess the following competencies:

●      Inform and communicate effectively with students, families and staff ●      Excellent time management and organizational skills ●      Ability to demonstrate content knowledge, including California Common Core Standards ●      Exhibits knowledge of student cognitive development and various learning styles ●      Organization skills ●      Ability to provide strong emotional support to students and families ●      Ability to manage diversity ●      Speak and write succinctly using plan language

Building relationships ●      Communication, both written and oral ●      Ability to evaluate alternatives ●      Interpersonal skills ●      Ability to listen and motivate ●      Teamwork ●      Create plans and goal set

SALARY

Hourly Framework Range: $30.00 per hour. Salary is commensurate with experience and education level.
