M-F 0800-1630 clinic hours
Pay Range:
$47.50 - $71.25- Outpatient care for patients with chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, and patients being evaluated for liver transplant through our transplant program.
- Location: Atrium Health Liver Care and Transplant – Huntersville, NC.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30 pm. No nights or weekends.
- No required procedures.
- 35 patient facing hours; 1/2-day administrative time.
- Experienced APPs with at least 1-2 years of gastroenterology, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine experience are preferred. Will consider a new grad who has strong desire to work in hepatology.
- Primary Care or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Acute Care board certification preferred based upon population and acuity served.
- Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master’s Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
- APP who demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- APP who can prioritize and make proactive decisions.
