Who You Will Work With:
We’re looking for a technically driven and strategically minded Senior Planning Analyst to lead the end‑to‑end administration, configuration, and ongoing evolution of Interac’s Planview Portfolios environment. This role partners closely with business (product, finance, and strategy) and technology teams to ensure Planview is effectively leveraged for portfolio planning, resource management, project tracking, time reporting, and executive decision‑making.
You are the bridge between technical IT and business teams, bringing a blend of technical expertise, strong business process understanding, and a pragmatic approach to solution design. You serve as the ambassador and driving force behind the analytics arm of the team, enabling clarity, insight, and data‑driven decisions across the portfolio. Reporting to the Leader, Solutions Delivery CoE, you will play a critical role in delivering Planview enhancements and modernisation initiatives across the Interac ecosystem, supporting strategic outcomes, enterprise alignment, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do:
Serve as the Senior Planning Analyst, owning the full lifecycle of the Planview Portfolios platform
Configure, maintain, and optimise core Planview modules, including:
Project intake and request management
Financial management and budgeting
Resource and capacity planning
Time reporting
Strategic portfolio and investment management
Lead or support system upgrades and rollouts of new Planview features and modules
Provide application support, issue resolution, and performance optimisation
Manage user access, roles, and resource lifecycle administration
Design and deliver custom dashboards, automated reports, and data visualizations using:
Planview analytics and reporting tools
Power BI (Desktop and Pro)
Microsoft Report Builder (v16+)
SQL queries against Planview datasets
Partner with stakeholders to understand portfolio, reporting, visualization and decision-support needs
Translate business requirements into Planview system enhancements and reporting solutions
Deliver tailored training (1:1 and group) for project managers, executives, and delivery teams
Develop clear training materials, job aids, and reference documentation
Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical leadership audiences
Collaborate across IT and business teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement
Apply change management practices to ensure successful implementation and sustained usage
What You Bring:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner gracefully with senior leaders
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related fields
5+ years of hands-on experience with Planview Portfolios
Comfort with Jira tools (nice to have)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Tableau and Microsoft Access
Proven experience using analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Power Platform)
Training in SQL, relational databases management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL or MS Access and/or data analysis
Experience working within or alongside a Portfolio Management Office (PMO/EPMO)
Planview Portfolios Administrator Certification
Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and reporting architectures
Experience with requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and vendor/SOW management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, iterative, and waterfall delivery methodologies
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
Eligibility to work full-time in Canada

The hiring range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
