Job Description

Business Intelligence Analyst – As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will join Philips’ GBS Financial Planning & Analytics team. This is a role within a team that combines business analysts and technical specialists, with a strong focus on automation, data processing, and reporting solutions.

On a daily basis, you will design, develop, and maintain reporting and automation solutions, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery of financial and procurement insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into actionable outputs, including automated reports and management presentations.

Your role:

• Support development, maintenance and management of advanced reporting, dashboards and other solutions using tools available in the landscape including Qlik View/Qlik Sense, SQL, Excel, SharePoint etc.

• Perform requirements collection, analysis, definition, and documentation activities

• Assist in defining and prioritizing content to be included for reporting and analytics

• Help and resolve business challenges and opportunities by retrieving, analyzing and presenting data in an informative way

• Participate in process improvement, system integration and new functionality projects

• Partner with others within the team, the business/customers and facilitate the full life cycle of solution development. Provide technical assistance as necessary to end users as well as team.

• Advance ability to design and troubleshoot complex queries, stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, constraints, unions, joins, and similar development tasks

• Utilize Qlik View,/Qlik Sense/PowerBI to generate usable information in the form of analytics, dashboards, scorecards, and other data visualization

• Assist with testing, code reviews, documentation and training

• Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines

• Reporting on activities performed under this task

You're the right fit if:

• You have 2 years of experience in developing reporting automation solutions using Excel, VBA (creating macros) and Qlik View/Qlik Sense

• Strong knowledge of Qlik View/Qlik Sense or PowerBI development and design

• Experienced in designing and developing data layers and visualizations

• Familiar with the topics related to information systems, their design, development and delivery

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Excellent analytical skill and experience in delivering complex data analysis,

• Excellent communication skills and service-oriented attitude

• Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks
