ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apex Tax & Cost Basis 

Associate Tax Operations  Analyst 

As an Associate Tax Operations Analyst within Apex Tax and Cost Basis, you will be responsible for analyzing data processes, solving complex problems, documenting procedures, ensuring data quality, and contributing to the improvement and automation of workflows.

Responsibilities: 

• Evaluate data flows to identify areas for improvement and assist in the development and implementation of solutions. 

• Ensure solutions align with business needs and requirements. 

• Analyze data trends and prepare reports with recommendations for management. 

• Conduct software and data quality testing ensuring end-to-end processes achieve desired outcomes.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Product and Development) to address data related needs. 

• Contribute to the development of automated workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual interventions 

Experience and Attributes: 

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in data analysis

• Exceptional analytical skills 

• Detail oriented problem solver 

• Ability to adapt on the fly in a rapidly changing environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Continuous improvement mindset, an outside the box thinker

• Understanding of financial services industry – particularly cost basis and tax reporting 

• Use of API’s and Claude ai a plus

Salary Range

$47,524-$59,405

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
