You can look forward to these exciting tasks
Manages daily HSE operations: Oversees inspections, safety walks, contractor work permits, fire drills, and HSE training activities Ensures HSE system compliance and certifications: Maintains plant HSE certifications and ensures the HSE management system meets all current legal and corporate requirements, including documentation and objective setting Drives risk management and incident prevention: Conducts risk analyses for existing and new processes, implements mitigation measures, and leads incident and accident investigations Leads audits and continuous improvement: Prepares and participates in internal and external HSE audits, ensures timely closure of non-conformities, and drives continuous improvement initiatives via an HSE roadmap and safety committees Monitors performance and reporting: Ensures accurate and timely HSE and energy KPI reporting and monitors the effectiveness of HSE and energy programs Coordinates occupational health and site safety: Manages occupational health topics in cooperation with HR and works closely with facilities teams to ensure buildings and equipment are maintained in a safe condition
This is what you bring to us
Relevant academic background and certifications: Bachelor or Master's degree in a chemical, technical, or industrial safety field, complemented by EHS training; “Travailleur désigné” certification is a strong asset Proven EHS experience and expertise: Hands-on experience in EHS coordination roles with strong knowledge of HSE systems, processes, and common risk assessment and investigation tools (e.g. ergonomics, incident/accident analysis) Occupational health and compliance knowledge: Solid understanding of occupational health processes as well as data protection and data retention requirements Operational and systems understanding: Basic understanding of production systems and guiding principles, with a particular focus on HSE dimensions Analytical, project, and organizational skills: Ability to collect and analyze data for reporting, lead projects or improvements through completion, and autonomously prioritize work Communication and language skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory, with French or German as a significant advantage
