Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of console, Switch & server products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ID, Hardware, and Thermal teams to deliver high-quality
products. - Analyze requirements, design architecture, and verify system integration.
- Resolve issues during engineering construction or assembly processes and drive yield
improvements. - Create a BOM, write technical documents, and execute the product approval process.
Requirement
- 8+ years of server/switch mechanical design experience.
- Expressed interest in mechanical engineering in the networking industry
- Exhibit the ability to think outside the box and challenge traditional paradigms
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new things
- Strong ownership, growth mindset, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Good root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Great communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional team members and suppliers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in server product design is preferred.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software is preferred.
- Knowledge of sheet metal stamping and plastic injection is preferred.
- 3+ years of team lead experience is preferred.
- Leadership in cross-functional or large-scale projects.
