Position Name: Sustainability specialist
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Location: Nashik/Pune, India

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Purpose (mission)
Run the environmental data backbone (GHG footprint methodology, data quality, audit trail) and maintain reporting cadence
Execute the emissions reduction plan and maintain progress dashboards; escalate blockers requiring cross-functional decisions
Industrialize CSRD/SSI reporting processes (automation, controls, validation)
VP owns external/executive accountability and prioritization across domains
Core responsibilities:
Environmental data analysis (GHG footprint) Collect required data across RIB teams (Finance, Travel, Real Estate, etc.) and calculate/refresh the GHG footprint on a regular basis (methodology and audit trail maintained). Increase automation and data controls as tooling/AI improves data collection and validation Carbon footprint reduction project management Define and manage emissions reduction initiatives based on the baseline and targets, in collaboration with stakeholders (initiative plans, owners, timelines, progress) Emissions reduction reporting Maintain up-to-date reporting on the emissions reduction plan (e.g., SharePoint-based reporting, dashboards, action tracking) CSRD data collection and reporting (to Schneider Electric) Coordinate with Schneider Electric to collect required CSRD data for RIB (People, workplace H&S, environment, etc.) and continuously improve data collection processes (automation, controls, validation steps) SE Imagine 2030 SSI data collection and reporting Coordinate SSI data collection and reporting for RIB; continuously improve process quality and reliability over time
