Commercial Engines Transportation Team is expanding their scope of responsibility and is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Analyst to develop capabilities within the organization and execute our business operational needs.   This is a dynamic position in operations management and requires interaction and alignment across multiple departments and with various levels of management.  

What You Will Do:

  • Proactively track and manage engine shipments between airline customers and our engine repair network.

  • Liaison with the Fleet Management organization to ensure optimal logistics management of customer engine shipments.

  • Create engine shipment requests, evaluate supplier bids from transportation providers, and select services to optimize spend and required delivery schedules.

  • Develop strategic initiatives to provide the most cost effective logistics solutions while ensuring maximum availability of engines.

  • Provide new logistics and storage solutions to the shop visit induction planning teams to sustain high levels of ready-to-induct engines.

What You Will Learn:

  • This role will provide an opportunity to learn how the Commercial Aftermarket business model works, with emphasis on engine shop visit management. 

  • Vendor logistics management and commercial contract exposure.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor Degree and 2 years of experience; Or Advanced Degree and experience prioritizing multiple competing projects while adhering to deadlines.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
