CAD/PLM/PDM/ALM Systems Administration
•
Hands-on administration of major CAD systems (CATIA, Creo, NX, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, and similar)
•
Hands-on administration of major PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE and similar)
•
Hands-on administration of major PDM/ALM systems
•
Installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations across these systems
•
Monitoring, backup/restore, and troubleshooting of CAD/PLM environments
•
Understanding of CAD/PLM data models, vaulting, check-in/check-out, and revision/configuration management
License Server Management
•
Administration of engineering license servers: FlexNet/FLEXlm, DSLS (Dassault), Siemens License Server, PTC License Server, and equivalents
•
License configuration, pooling, borrowing, monitoring, and usage reporting
•
Troubleshooting license checkout failures, server clustering/redundancy, and version compatibility
•
Capacity planning and coordination with vendors on license entitlements
External Customer Integration Support
•
Technical knowledge to install Synera in customer environments and connect it to their CAD/PLM systems
•
Understanding of CAD/PLM APIs, connectors, and integration interfaces (e.g., REST, file-based exchange, native SDKs/toolkits)
•
Troubleshooting connectivity, authentication, and data-exchange issues between Synera and customer systems
•
Working knowledge of common engineering data formats (STEP, JT, IGES, native CAD formats) and their handling
•
Familiarity with enterprise IT environments (Active Directory, directory services, networking, Windows Server) sufficient to understand and navigate customer infrastructure during installations
Internal Engineering Software and IT Support
•
Technical support for internal users on CAD/PLM and related engineering software
•
Diagnosing and resolving installation, configuration, and client-side issues
•
Escalation handling for engineering-software problems beyond standard MSP scope
•
Occasional general IT support for colleagues alongside to support our MSP and reach a better coverage across time zones.
General AI Proficiency
•
Practical use of AI tools and assistants (LLM-based copilots, coding assistants) to work more efficiently
•
Comfort adopting and applying emerging AI technologies in day-to-day work
•
Awareness of AI-driven automation opportunities across administration, scripting, and troubleshooting
Supporting Technical Skills
•
Networking fundamentals relevant to client-server CAD/PLM and license traffic (ports, firewalls, DNS, latency considerations)
•
Virtualization and remote workstation technologies (VMware, Citrix, GPU-accelerated VDI)
•
Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or batch) for deployment and maintenance
Nice to Have
•
General cloud and infrastructure knowledge (AWS/Azure, IaC, containerization)
•
Familiarity with process automation or engineering integration platforms
•
Exposure to PDM/PLM customization or configuration (workflows, lifecycle states)

80.000 - 85.000 USD annually
