Job description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Junior Art QA Analyst to join our QA team working on The Witcher 4. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the highest quality of character-related content within the Characters Area. You will identify, analyze, and verify issues while collaborating closely with artists, technical artists, programmers, and the broader QA team to help maintain visual quality, technical integrity, and an immersive player experience throughout the game's development.
Daily Responsibilities
- Test character assets, and engine tools.
- Collaborate closely with the QA team and Characters Area teams.
- Identify, report, and verify game issues and bugs.
- Perform optimization and performance testing passes.
- Maintain bug reports, test documentation, and checklists.
- Support test planning activities and create test cases (Xray).
- Monitor game builds and help maintain build stability.
- Investigate and document encountered issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes and testing practices.
- At least one year of experience in a QA-related role.
- Perceptiveness - a real eagle eye!
- Basic knowledge of 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
- Basic knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Understanding of 3D character creation pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Perforce or GitHub.
- Experience using Jira Software.
- Interest in art, technical art, or game development.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute proactively.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills and tools.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others while managing multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of the gaming industry.
- Familiarity with game development pipelines and workflows.

- Experience using TestRail or Xray.
- Experience executing performance tests.
- Basic knowledge of skinning and rigging processes.
- Portfolio showcasing 3D art-related work.

Estimated pay range for this position: 4 900 – 6 700 PLN gross monthly. Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience and qualifications.
