You will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook and serve makes our guests smile and wanting more.
What you will be doing:
- Working on several orders at once
- Constantly keeping the station clean and sanitized
- Making sure the station is properly stocked with food and equipment
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of output from station
- Creating food of the highest quality and to the standards.
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
- Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
Your experience and skills include:
- A commercial cookery qualification with previous experience working in a hotel or restaurant environment for at least 2 years post-apprenticeship.
- Experience providing quality food and presentation of all dishes
- Knowledge of WHS and food safety policies and procedures
- Relevant food preparation and service knowledge
- The ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills
- Unlimited work rights in Australia
