1. Technical Leadership & Conversion Architecture - 40%

· Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight across all active data conversion and AMS migration projects

· Architect and govern end-to-end data conversion frameworks including data mapping standards, transformation logic libraries, validation protocols, and quality assurance methodologies

· Write and review advanced SQL including performance-tuned stored procedures, dynamic queries, and complex multi-source transformation logic; set SQL coding standards for the team

· Define and own the team's ETL architecture strategy, evaluating tools and platforms for scalability, reliability, and alignment with organizational data infrastructure

· Leverage Python and scripting tools to develop reusable automation frameworks that accelerate data preparation, transformation, and validation workflows

· Serve as the primary technical escalation point for high-impact data issues during active migrations

2. Data Quality Governance & Executive Reporting - 20%

· Oversee data quality governance across all conversion projects, defining acceptance criteria, escalation protocols, and remediation strategies for critical data issues

· Build advanced reporting infrastructure in Power BI or Tableau to provide executive-level visibility into conversion portfolio health, data quality trends, and team performance metrics

· Drive continuous improvement of conversion methodologies, tooling, and documentation standards to reduce delivery risk and increase team efficiency

· Contribute to pre-sales and client onboarding through technical scoping, data assessment, and conversion feasibility analysis

3. Client & Executive Stakeholder Engagement - 25%

· Lead data discovery and solutioning engagements with clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex requirements into comprehensive conversion architectures

· Partner with product, technology, and operations leadership to align data conversion capabilities with organizational strategy and platform roadmap

· Manage vendor and AMS platform relationships from a data and technical integration standpoint

· Represent the organization's data requirements and advocate for solutions that reduce conversion complexity

4. Team Leadership & Development - 15%

· Collaborate with and mentor a team of Data Engineers including regular performance feedback, technical coaching, and career development support

· Foster a respectful and collaborative environment by upholding professionalism and engaging in constructive and respectful conversations

· Support a positive workplace culture by promoting open, solution-oriented communication, encouraging teamwork, and maintaining a focus on shared goals and productivity
