The Graduate School and related schools/colleges invite applications for an adjunct instructor who will focus on teaching an undergraduate and graduate level Data Science course. Successful candidates are expected to actively participate in the teaching and curriculum development of the undergraduate and graduate level course.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Teach undergraduate and graduate level online Data Science and Analytics courses.
SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY:
Involves no responsibility or authority for the direction of others.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Internal contacts include students, the department chair, and other administrators, when relevant. External contacts include students and the general public.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Actively participate in Department’s teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, as assigned by the Department.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Effective pedagogical skills.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a MS in the area of Data Science or Data Analytics or PhD in related field + experience in teaching relevant data science courses.
