Job description
The work:
Lead cybersecurity compliance for Federal/DoD systems as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) specialist; manage all phases of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full RMF lifecycle (Categorize, Select, Implement, Assess, Authorize, Monitor) for assigned systems to ensure security compliance
- Implement and assess NIST SP 800-53 security controls; perform regular vulnerability scans, security control assessments, and risk analysis
- Develop and maintain required security authorization documentation (e.g., System Security Plans, POA&Ms) and track remediation of identified security findings
- Conduct continuous security monitoring and periodic reviews to sustain the system’s authorized security posture
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in information security/assurance (including Federal/DoD RMF A&A)
- Strong knowledge of RMF (NIST SP 800-37), NIST SP 800-53 controls, and FISMA compliance
- Proficient in implementing and assessing security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments and risk analysis, and managing security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud security (FedRAMP), high-impact or classified systems, and other specialized federal cybersecurity environments
- Familiarity with security compliance tools and GRC platforms; experience with automating continuous monitoring
- DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II/III baseline certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent)
- Advanced cybersecurity certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CAP, CISM)
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
