Job Description:

  • Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

  • Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and shift 10am -7pm

  • Location: Advent Health Sports Med and Rehab, 10799 Moss Park Rd #106, Orlando, FL 32832

  • Additional Locations: May float to the other Lake Nona locations (Tavistock 9975 Tavistock Lakes Blvd Suite 140, Orlando, FL 32827or Eagle Creek 13887 Narcoossee Rd Suite 205, Orlando, FL 32832)

  • The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.

  • Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.

  • Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.

  • Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.

  • Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.

  • Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
  • Entry level competency of physical therapy practice, theory, principles, and applications as defined in competency/department policies [Required]
  • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]


Education:

  • Doctorate [Preferred]


Field of Study:

  • in Physical Therapy


Work Experience:

  • Dry Needling [Preferred]


Additional Information:

  • Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) [Required]
