This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On
•
Lead full project lifecycle: initiation, design, construction, and closeout
•
Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics
•
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Quality, Maintenance) and external partners (architects, contractors, consultants, regulators)
•
Prepare and review engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documents
•
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
•
Ensure compliance with Abbott standards, FDA regulations, and environmental/permitting requirements
•
Oversee construction activities, including site inspections and field issue resolution
•
Track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate status to stakeholders
•
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support capital planning efforts
•
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and operations
Required Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
•
3–5 years of engineering/project management experience (capital or infrastructure projects)
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•
Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera)
•
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and civil design software (e.g., Civil 3D)
•
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project delivery
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
•
Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes
•
PMP certification (preferred)
•
Understanding of Design Controls, GDP, cGMP, GAMP5, and FDA Computer Software Assurance

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
