About the role
We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and adaptable Intensive Care Registered Nurses to join a respected health system in Alaska, on a three‑year contract.
As an ICU RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑acuity, evidence‑based care while working collaboratively with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams. This facility is known for excellent nurse‑to‑patient ratios, strong trauma and critical care services, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities

Deliver direct, high‑acuity patient care in alignment with ICU protocols and evidence‑based standards

Administer critical medications, monitor complex vital signs, and manage advanced therapies including ventilators, IV infusions, and hemodynamic support

Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to assess patient conditions and implement tailored care plans

Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
-
Respond rapidly to life‑threatening emergencies, performing advanced procedures such as code response, airway management, and resuscitation

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post‑discharge care to support recovery and informed decision‑making
Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
-
NCLEX‑RN passed (or actively preparing)
-
English language proficiency
-
Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience
-
Willingness to relocate to Alaska for at least three years
