What You will Do
Role Summary
Release Train Engineer GT HDNU is accountable for delivery ownership, quality, and execution performance of the GT stream for all Americas based HDNU projects.
The role ensures on‑time, right‑first‑time delivery, strong cross‑functional integration, and continuous improvement across engineering, interfaces, and execution teams, while aligning with overall project and business objectives.

· Ensure strong alignment of GT value stream execution plans with the overall HDNU project execution strategy supporting the “One Team” operating model.
· Drive the team to execute the projects within schedule and quality >95%
· Mentor and coach Product owners to have high performing team and have expertise so that all projects are executed within schedule and highest quality
· Drives processes, systems to streamline execution processes and do the gap analysis for process issues with clear action plan with timelines
· Drive productivity and automation in GT execution process to be efficient and also help in improving quality
· Drive the culture of Reactive to Proactive approach in the team with sense of urgency and 100% accountability.
· Work with team to increase GT technical -execution and domain expertise so that we have high performing team.
What You Will Bring
Candidate must have minimum 15 + years in Gas based Power plant Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and HRSG. The candidate should have strong domain expertise in Power Plant.
- Degree in engineering or higher with minimum 15 years of experience in Gas Turbine Controls Design (GE Vernova Preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in performing technical reviews
- Excellent knowledge about GE Speedtronic Mark Controller Series
- Demonstrated the capability of having system level knowledge
- Demonstrated global mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across cultures
· Curate GT technical trainings to the team based on ga p analysis
· Evaluate Competency assessment for each individual along with Value stream leaders, PO , architect, SME and lead engineers
· Own and drive on‑Time Delivery (OTD) engineering Quality for the Americas based GT value stream, ensuring predictable execution, right‑first‑time deliverables.
· Proactively manage technical, schedule, resource, and interface risks, with strong focus on early identification, mitigation, and prevention of downstream integration and site issues.
· Escalate cross‑functional and system‑level technical risks to the Values Stream leader in a timely manner to ensure seamless integration during the integration phase of the project.
· Provide the Value Stream leader and Delivery Leader with a consolidated, high‑level view of overall project health, highlighting key integration milestones, critical path items, blockers, and risks impacting system‑ and plant‑level deliverables.
· Leverage system‑level expertise to streamline and drive lean, efficient integrated testing, reducing cycle time, defects, and late rework.
· Collaborate closely with Team Leaders to clearly define technical scope, ownership, and interfaces (including NPIs) across GT Controls, ensuring clear boundary management and accountability.
· Identify and drive opportunities for digitalization, process improvement, standardization, and design simplification within the GT value stream to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
· Provide functional leadership to value stream leads, project leads, and engineering teams within GT , ensuring effective resource planning, skill alignment, workload balancing, and team capability development across projects.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements
