Works Train Technician (Electrical)

To carry out electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of works train and rail plant equipment. This includes main line locomotives (Krupp), Schoma diesel shunting locomotives, battery hybrid on‑track machines, wagons, MEWPs, Hiabs, and service vehicles including PSV and light commercial vehicles. The role also includes troubleshooting, preparing equipment for service, operating locomotives within worksites, and ensuring all equipment is returned to service safely and efficiently.
