Lead Dentist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Dentist with experience at our friendly, well-established and supportive practice, NDC Toowoomba. Convenient accommodation can be provided for the right candidate as we have a lovely, unique adjoining apartment.

We are a large, 5 chair dental practice with full QIP accreditation and state-of-the-art equipment and technology including an OPG and CBCT machine. Our thriving practice has a well-established patient base and is run by an amazingly supportive and hardworking team.

About the Role
As Lead Dentist, you’ll play a key role in both clinical delivery and team leadership, working closely with the Practice Manager to drive performance, culture, and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and support a team of dentists and clinicians
• Deliver high-quality general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry
• Oversee clinical standards, protocols and continuous improvement
• Drive a positive, collaborative and high-performance team culture
• Contribute to patient experience and practice growth

Skills & Experience
You have:

• Minimum 7+ years experience working as a Dentist in Australia, with high clinical skills and standards
• Previous Leadership and Mentoring Experience Desirable
• Current unconditional AHPRA registration
• An appropriate qualification recognised by the Dental Board of Australia
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• You are:
• A great communicator who’s adept at motivating and inspiring others
• A natural at building and maintaining trusting relationships with patients
• Highly professional, with a polished image and good personal presentation
• Confident across a wide scope of general dental procedures
