Job description

Requirements of the Sales Support Specialist: •

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Previous experience in sales or customer service supporting technical products preferred; experience in construction/engineering/surveying a plus.

Ability and eagerness to learn product technical specifications to explain the technology to customers and troubleshoot issues.

Interest and flexibility to support the MTS team in a variety of areas that include sales and customer service.

Strong customer service skills and a desire to solve problems and work with customers to meet their needs.

Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and the MTS team.

Tech savvy with the ability to troubleshoot software and technical issues.

Previous CAD software experience preferred.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

Ability to lift 30 pounds.

Ability to work from the Woburn office/showroom Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist: •

Support the MTS sales and office team by demonstrating surveying, engineering, and construction instruments, answering customer questions, assisting with product setup, and providing product training.

Provide quotes, pricing structure details, and technical support to customers through phone inquiries, showroom visits, website contact, etc.

Obtain a Part 107 commercial drone certification to underpin MTS’s expanding sUAS sales initiatives, while progressively building foundational proficiency in drone mapping. This credential will not only legitimize operational capabilities but also broaden technical fluency, enabling informed engagement with clients and a deeper understanding of aerial data acquisition as the mapping discipline comes into focus.

Greet customers in the showroom, answer questions and take showroom orders.

Submit all customer orders and repair ticket information timely and accurately; follow up or resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

Serve as the main point of contact to coordinate and respond to customers regarding training and customer events.

Stay up to date on new technology regarding hardware and software solutions through self-guided learning, vendor training, and other resources.
