Main Responsibilities

• Administer and support Atlassian applications, including Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and related tools
• Act as a support point for users, helping them resolve questions, issues, and configuration-related challenges
• Create, improve, and maintain automation rules that reduce manual work and make processes more efficient
• Support Jira Assets configuration and automation, ensuring asset data remains accurate, structured, useful, and connected to business processes
• Work with ScriptRunner to support advanced Jira configurations, including behaviours, validators, conditions, scripted logic, and automation improvements
• Configure and maintain workflows, fields, screens, permissions, notifications, and project settings based on business needs
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, queues, and filters using JQL to improve visibility across teams
• Manage users, roles, groups, access, permissions, and security-related settings across the Atlassian platform
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into practical platform improvements
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, standards, and best practices.
• Support new Atlassian features, app changes, upgrades, and integrations with other systems
• Review platform usage, performance, and adoption trends, and suggest improvements where needed.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian applications in a business or enterprise environment
• Experience supporting cloud-based Atlassian environments
• Solid understanding of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and how these tools support different teams and processes
• Strong knowledge of Jira configuration, including workflows, schemes, screens, fields, permissions, notifications, and project settings
• Practical experience with Atlassian Automation and the ability to design rules that are scalable and maintainable
• Good working knowledge of Jira Assets, including object schemas, attributes, relationships, and asset-based processes
• Experience using ScriptRunner to support more advanced Jira configurations and logic
• Confidence working with JQL, filters, dashboards, reports, and data visibility improvements
• Experience managing users, roles, groups, access, and permission structures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, understand their needs, and translate them into practical solutions.

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES

• Experience with scripting or coding to extend and improve Atlassian solutions, such as writing Groovy scripts or creating custom Forge apps
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integrations
• Atlassian certifications
• Experience working in larger Atlassian environments with multiple teams, projects, and business processes.
