Overview
Configures highly technical software systems to provide support to Cherokee Nation's complex surveillance operations in a multi-county environment. Adds and maintains users on the surveillance network. Assigns surveillance applications access. Maintains and ensures security configurations are within standards.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
At least one year experience in a related field.
COMPUTER SKILLS
An individual should have knowledge of Database, Internet, Inventory, Project Management, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high or precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Security Camera Systems
Consults with clients to assess risks and to determine security requirements and then provides cost estimates for equipment installation of security camera systems. Researches, designs, orders, installs, programs, and monitors Analog & Digital IP camera and equipment. This includes installing, terminating, testing, labeling horizontal, backbone, and other cables. Installs, programs, and maintains network switches. Researches, orders, installs, programs, and maintains servers for camera security system. Installs and maintains ipConfigure security camera software. Programs the cameras for each location, building, and room(s) into the ipConfigure software. Sets up and trains the end user on the usage of the security software. Troubleshoots and repairs any failure to cameras, servers, software, and switches. Learns and seeks out new security and technology. Maintains current certifications. Provides security equipment status and service reports to management and recommends actions, such as equipment update, replacement or relocation.
Lock Systems
Consults with clients to assess risks and to determine security requirements and then provides cost estimates for equipment installation of lock systems. Researches, designs, orders, installs, programs, and monitors magnetic locks, strikes, controllers, power supplies, and support equipment. This includes installing, terminating, testing, labeling horizontal, backbone, and other cables. Installs, programs, and maintains network switches. Researches, orders, installs, programs, and maintains server for lock security system. Installs and maintains the AMAG Symmetry security software. Programs into software: a) controllers for each location, building, and room(s), b) programs hours of operations and events such as holidays and special occasions to control opening and closing of locks, c) programs user rights, card holders, designs, and print cards, d) generates reports for configuration, system, activity, and users audit. Sets up and trains the end user on the usage of the security software. Troubleshoots and repairs any failure to lock, controller, power supplies, servers, software, and switches. Learns and seeks out new security and technology. Maintains current certifications. Provides security equipment status and service reports to management and recommends actions; such as equipment update, replacement or relocation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
