Responsibilities What You'll do In the role of Delivery Manager - Cloud Team at Principal Financial Group, you will be responsible for leading both technical cloud engineering initiatives and end-to-end delivery management, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud platforms. This role balances deep technical leadership with strong delivery governance, people management, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, finance, and enterprise functions, this role ensures seamless execution, cost accountability, and business alignment. Promote adoption of GenAI-driven efficiencies in SDLC, cloud operations, and engineering workflows. Own end-to-end delivery of cloud engineering and FinOps programs, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, budget, and quality targets. Drive predictable delivery outcomes using Agile/SAFe methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Coordinate across cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, risks, and integration points effectively. Own resource planning, allocation, and utilization management, ensuring optimal team productivity. Conduct performance management, goal setting, and regular feedback cycles for team members. Qualifications Who You are: Education: Graduate/Bachelors Engineering degree Experience: 10 to 13 years relevant experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, FinOps, and delivery management roles. Ability to balance technical depth with delivery ownership and people leadership.
