Care Associate Diagnostic Radiology Full Time Days Job Summary:
The Care Associate provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living, comfort measures, and maintains a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Completion Novant Health sponsored training program, Required.
- Life Support Responder (within 90 days of employment), Required.
- Completion of Novant Health Safety Attendant training, Required.
- Additional Skills Required: Upon completion of the Novant Health sponsored training program, the Care Associate works within the guidelines of nursing and Novant Health policies and procedures. Must exhibit strong communication skills; ability to write effectively; effective computer skills, and strong customer service skills.
- Additional Skills Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation. Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR) and Safety Attendant duties may be assigned as determined by unit leaders and unit needs. If needed in the MUR role, the Care Associate must be able to perform the MUR skills as indicated in the MUR job description. If needed in the Safety attendant role, the Care Associate must complete appropriate training and be able to perform the Safety Attendant skills as indicated in the Safety Attendant job descriptio
