Expected pay for this position is $27.26 - $32.06/hour . Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
Therapeutic Recreational Therapist is primarily responsible for planning, developing, implementing and maintaining a recreational therapy program for the Behavioral Healthcare department. The program will include recreational, occupational and other creative therapies.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation therapy
Licensure/ Certification
- American Heart Association CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Other Skills/ Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Master’s degree in therapeutic recreation therapy
Experience
- Previous work experience as a Therapeutic Recreation Therapist
Licensure/ Certification
- National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
