Overview This role will assist the R&D Reporting team out of Hyderabad and support the organization by developing enhanced reporting capabilities and generating meaningful insights or visualizations through the requisite tools. This candidate will also support in interfacing directly with other global R&D functional teams, including Data Administration and PPSI team, for day-to-day operations. Responsibilities Partner with the Business & Program Manager and Regional Process Owners to execute various data inputs (e.g., R&D nutrition data, audit exemption reports and other sector related data), in line with business process standards, as part of the standardized global nutrition reporting process within Global R&D at the regional level Functional Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders across global R&D to determine reporting needs and coordinate to define reporting solutions Foster and leverage working relationships with other Business Analytics teams Ensure all requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined SLAs Extract and track data from pre-defined sources and measure / report on operational improvement or other metrics and requests Conduct performance reporting and create required reports or score cards for R&D functions Perform benchmarking analysis against standards for insights generation Highlight data abnormalities in reports for business performance improvement Coordinate with cross functions to ensure data accuracy and publish score cards, reports as per defined reporting schedule. Provide timely response and resolution for queries from key stake holders form sector and global teams to ensure value add reporting matrix in coordination with respective function within R&D Generating reports and develop ad hoc metric as per requests Data Input: Ensures data inputted is complete, accurate and prepared based on data governance guidelines for associated markets (e.g., respective sector or US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil etc.) and key priority data (nutrient, sustainability, or other R&D key metric) Partner with process owner to validate data input on a quarterly basis to reach successful certification status Partner with IT to support automated data loads on a frequent basis Provide proactive oversight to ensure that system data is complete and accurate based on data standards and business processes Sustain Existing and Create Future Process: Accountable for preparing and maintaining supporting documentation in line with data governance guidelines (e.g., regional best practices, data collection forums and alignment with regional control owners) Promotes and demonstrates the use of R&D systems and reporting tools within associated markets Collaborate with product developers to ensure data related to new product innovations and product reformulations are captured Partners with Business & Program Managers and other stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into functional specifications to further improve and automate the process quality and reporting capability Qualifications Experience working in a large global CPG company, with understanding of the CPG performance outputs and measures Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Documentum,Advaced excel) Advanced data analysis & visualization techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions Detail-oriented, with a strong ability to build and maintain data models, reporting systems, and dashboards as needed for efficient data gathering and reporting Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills to ensure requests are delivered in a timely manner Understands importance of data accuracy and transparency and how data is being used to effectively execute data reporting Understanding of nutrition attributes e.g., via product development or nutrition science experience Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams and adaptive to changing priorities Need to be able to work with key individuals in other locations and time zones as assigned Willing to develop detailed training documentation and adhere to corporate standards/change management policies Fluent in English Bachelor’s degree required in science or mathematics 2-6 years of prior work experience in similar or related field Partner with the Business & Program Manager and Regional Process Owners to execute various data inputs (e.g., R&D nutrition data, audit exemption reports and other sector related data), in line with business process standards, as part of the standardized global nutrition reporting process within Global R&D at the regional level Functional Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders across global R&D to determine reporting needs and coordinate to define reporting solutions Foster and leverage working relationships with other Business Analytics teams Ensure all requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined SLAs Extract and track data from pre-defined sources and measure / report on operational improvement or other metrics and requests Conduct performance reporting and create required reports or score cards for R&D functions Perform benchmarking analysis against standards for insights generation Highlight data abnormalities in reports for business performance improvement Coordinate with cross functions to ensure data accuracy and publish score cards, reports as per defined reporting schedule.
