Your Role:
- Support the activities of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) area in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Follow up on the training plan and program, as well as the key activities related to the department.
- Verify the execution of the technical and administrative processes within the department to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of risk control operations, accident and occupational illness prevention, and environmental protection, in compliance with applicable legislation and the requirements and principles established by regulatory authorities.
- Support and verify the activities of the Environmental, Safety, and Medical departments.
- Conduct risk assessments and environmental aspect analyses in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Communicate guidelines, policies, and procedures related to the department and applicable throughout the organization.
- Monitor and verify compliance with EHS policies.
- Determine and justify the requirements for safety equipment, medications, materials, and tools necessary to maintain compliance with EHS requirements.
- Update EHS performance indicators established by the company through information boards or display screens.
- Maintain and continuously improve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across the sites.
- Monitor and follow up on the achievement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) objectives.
- Promote environmental, health, safety, and sustainability awareness programs for employees and the community.
- Administer, supervise, and control contracts, agreements, and other arrangements with suppliers providing safety, health, and environmental services to the company.
- Maintain communication and coordination with corporate teams to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
- Comply with the training program assigned to the EHS function.
- Develop the training calendar for the plant in compliance with the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
- Maintain ethical and professional conduct in all work-related activities.
- Be responsible for the management and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste generated at the facility.
Your Background
- Industrial, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in EHS supervision
- Strong knowledge of EHS legal and regulatory requirements
- Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Clean Industry programs
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork-oriented
- Sense of urgency
- Strong activity coordination skills
- 80% English proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- People management experience
