In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage account strategies for local EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) customers, focusing on sustainable order growth, profitability, and long-term customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, manage and track ongoing projects, and support the resolution of customer needs across the full sales cycle. You will also play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the assigned market. Additionally, you will leverage your market and customer insights to support pricing decisions, provide input on market trends, and contribute to competitive positioning. You will prepare and execute sales plans using approved tools, ensure accurate offer preparation in coordination with bid teams, and support contract and risk management activities. By building strong customer relationships and promoting the full range of solutions, products, and services, you will help ensure a positive customer experience while driving performance against sales, volume, and profitability targets.

This role is reporting to the Business Manager - Commercial and Operations in Hydra, Algeria. Main stakeholders are local and international EPC customers, internal sales and bid teams, and project execution, finance, and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the development and execution of local EPC account strategies to drive sustainable order growth, profitability, and market share

Managing and growing relationships with local and international EPC customers by understanding their needs and aligning ABB solutions accordingly

Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the assigned market to expand ABB’s project pipeline

Preparing and implementing sales plans using approved ABB tools while tracking performance against volume, mix, and profitability targets

Collaborating with bid, proposal, and marketing teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial offers

Monitoring customer activities, market trends, and competitor actions to support effective pricing and response strategies

Ensuring strong customer experience throughout the full sales cycle, including delivery, payment, and contract execution topics

Supporting contract, risk, and compliance management in line with ABB policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines

Driving cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders including project execution, finance, supply chain, and service teams

You will join a dynamic and high-performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications

You are immersed in solution selling and account management methodologies within EPC project sales in the industrial automation and energy sector market

You have 8 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or business development with EPC customers, industrial solutions, or capital projects

Possess strong knowledge of CRM, Salesforce and/or SAP sales modules

You are passionate about building long-term customer relationships, with strong customer-centric thinking

You have strong negotiation skills and effective communication abilities

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration (ideally with a technical focus in engineering-driven industries)

You are at ease communicating in English, Arabic and French
