Ready to take the next step in your commercial career and help shape the performance of New Zealand’s national airline? This is an opportunity to deepen your commercial expertise, influence high-impact decisions, and play a key role in optimising the performance of one of the world's most recognised airline brands.
As a Revenue Management Analyst (Specialist), you'll join a team that sits at the heart of Air New Zealand's commercial success. Working at the intersection of customer demand and business performance, you'll use data, forecasting tools, and commercial insight to make decisions that maximise revenue while delivering great outcomes for our customers.
Air New Zealand is consistently recognised as one of New Zealand's most attractive employers and is on a journey to become the world's leading digital airline. You'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team where curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement are encouraged every day.
The role you will play
- Own the commercial performance of a portfolio of routes, using data and insight to optimise revenue outcomes
- Analyse market trends, booking patterns, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks
- Develop, implement, and refine revenue management strategies that respond to changing demand and market conditions
- Provide clear, data-driven recommendations that support commercial decisions and strategic initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to turn insights into actions that improve performance
- Apply a test-and-learn mindset to evaluate new opportunities and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor competitive activity and recommend actions that strengthen Air New Zealand's market position
What we're looking for
- A tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, engineering, finance, economics, operations research, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a role focused on commercial analysis, pricing, revenue optimisation, demand planning, performance analysis, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical recommendations
- Confidence building relationships and influencing stakeholders across a range of business functions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a compelling story through data
- Curiosity, commercial acumen, and a growth mindset with a desire to continuously learn and develop
- Experience in airline revenue management, pricing, or commercial analytics would be advantageous, but is not essential
We know great talent comes in many forms. If you bring strong experience and a fresh perspective, we'd love to hear from you.
Why join Air New Zealand?
We want our people to live their best lives and access great benefits that support their lives outside work.
- Discounted travel on Air New Zealand and access to standby travel on a range of international airlines

- Access to a wide range of employee discounts across travel, retail, banking, insurance, health and lifestyle providers
- Superannuation support through KiwiSaver and FlexiSaver, with matching employer contributions of up to 4%
Ready for take-off?
If you're looking for an opportunity to expand your commercial expertise, build valuable enterprise-wide relationships, and contribute to decisions that shape the performance of New Zealand's flag carrier, we'd love to hear from you. Join a team where your insights can have a real impact and where you'll continue to grow your career alongside some of the industry's best commercial minds.
