Job description

We are looking for a Financial Administrative Assistant who ensures that our financial processes run smoothly, accurately, and consistently on a day-to-day basis. In this execution-focused role, you will support the Finance team in the Netherlands from our office in Sri Lanka.

What you will do

Process and manage daily financial transactions, including purchase invoices, accounts receivable, bank mutations, credit card transactions, and payment runs

Maintain accurate financial records across systems such as Exact, Spendcloud, LIFT, QuickBooks, and Nmbrs

Support accounts receivable activities by processing customer payments, maintaining debtor administration, and following up on overdue invoices

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities by ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing

Support payroll administration, including payroll mutations, expense declarations, and payroll journal entries

Create and manage purchase orders, monitor approval workflows, and ensure compliance with established finance procedures

Handle finance administration tasks, including managing the finance inbox, customer communication, and audit documentation support

Contribute to process improvements and support the adoption of automation and AI-assisted finance tools
