Financial Analyst 4
Salary
Job description
The Opportunity
Adobe's Growth Marketing & Insights team owns the budget operations, spend governance, and performance-reporting infrastructure behind Adobe's worldwide paid media investment. As a key Finance partner to that organization, you will help build the operating model and perspective that keeps spend accurate, efficient, and decision-ready for partners across Adobe.
We're hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to modernize how GMI runs spend management, deepen finance's partnership across the media and performance org, and help sharpen how Adobe invests in media. We’re looking for someone with strong business partnership skills, a strategy focus, and a desire to rethink how Finance operates. You'll inherit a maturing automation and reporting stack and be expected to push it further, while developing the business fluency to turn spend data into views on performance, efficiency, and opportunity.
What You'll Do
Own spend management through better tooling and process
- Own and modernize budget management for the AMER media teams. Moving reconciliation, PO tracking, transfers, and pacing from manual effort toward scalable, well-governed, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Maintain a consolidated, trusted view of media budgets, accurate to Adobe's Finance taxonomy, that partners can rely on for pacing and forecasting. Ensuring accuracy for budgets in a 9-figure quarterly range.
- Extend GMI's existing automation and reporting stack to expand coverage and maintain a durable operating model.
Deepen business partnership across the media and performance org
- Build a deep understanding of the business across GMI's organizations and act as a trusted finance partner for key decision makers, informing media investment.
- Expand coverage for new and emerging orgs, transitioning their operations into the GMI framework and standing up scalable, aligned processes.
- Serve as the primary finance interface for Global media orgs: supporting regional budget alignment, deployment, and improving how GMI and global teams work together.
Build a finance perspective on media performance and investment
- Turn spend and performance data into a clear point of view on efficiency and where investment is and isn't working across media.
- Surface areas of opportunity and risk, and bring a finance lens to planning and investment decisions in partnership with Media Strategy, GTM, Performance Marketing, and Analytics teams.
- Help lead quarterly planning and budgeting motions, synthesizing inputs, managing dependencies, and driving alignment to a recommended allocation.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 4+ years in FP&A, finance operations, or a related analytical role.
- Positive and team-oriented demeanor
- Strong command of budget management mechanics (reconciliation, variance, pacing, forecasting) paired with the instinct to streamline and automate rather than repeat manual work.
- Demonstrated business partnership skills. Ability to build relationships across functions, influence decisions, and translate numbers into a clear narrative and point of view.
- Fluency or strong interest in AI-assisted workflows and automation to streamline finance operations.
- Self-starter who connects across teams, takes initiative, and develops new ways of approaching problems.
- Proficiency working with data and experience building structured, repeatable reporting.
Bonus points
- Hands-on experience with Power BI , Power Automate , and using Claude Enterprise/ChatGPT to build scalable tools.
- Familiarity with paid media operations and media budget taxonomies, or the ability to ramp quickly on a media-finance domain.
- Experience supporting international / multi-geo budget operations and reporting.
