TEAL-Engineer Purchase (Electrical)

Job Requirements

• Receive and validate purchase requisitions from Design, Assembly, Production, and other departments.
• Float RFQs, obtain quotations, and perform techno-commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare Purchase Orders and obtain approvals as per company policy.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with Stores and Accounts for material receipt and invoice closure.
• Maintain procurement records and support audit requirements.
• Identify alternate suppliers and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports.

Work Experience

Knowledge of electrical and electronic components, automation products, PLCs, sensors, drives, cables, and control panel materials.

Understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, GST, and commercial terms.

Working knowledge of SAP MM/ERP systems and MS Excel.

Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
