Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and optimize complex mathematical models and multi-function equations to support business decisions.
- Quickly process and interpret large datasets, identifying patterns, risks, and opportunities.
- Assess operational or strategic issues, propose solutions, and lead implementation with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into clear recommendations.
- Perform scenario analysis, forecasting, and stress testing under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide real-time insights to drive efficiency and growth.
- Stay focused and deliver high-quality outputs even in dynamic, time-sensitive environments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or a related work experience in a quantitative field.
- Proven ability to work quickly and accurately with advanced equations and analytical tools - Excel, Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through experience or a passion for competitive strategy games.
- Exceptional focus and composure under pressure; track record of delivering results in fast-moving or high-stakes settings.
- Experience assessing complex issues and successfully implementing practical, effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Job Details:
- Type: Full-time, onsite in Irvine, CA
- Pay: $25.00 per hour
- Days & Hours: Saturday & Sunday 7 am - 4 pm, Monday - Wednesday 5 am - 2 pm PST
