PR Consulting is a brand strategy and public relations agency that specializes in developing and communicating authentic narratives to position companies and individuals across multi-platform channels.
Our company is currently seeking talented candidates for the Account Coordinator position to join a team leading strategic communications planning and programming for clients in our Lifestyle department. The Lifestyle team supports best in class hospitality, culinary, design and CPG clients
The Coordinator will be part of PR Consulting’s team in New York and report directly to the department's Director. This role is in person Monday - Thursday with remote work on Fridays.
Job Description:
- Serve as a key team member for a number of lifestyle and culinary brands, helping to facilitate overall excellence in output to the client
- Work with staff from Partner through intern levels on both day to day as well as bigger picture needs, reporting to Director and Manager level staff
- Manage client assets - create and organize assets for press outreach and pitching
- Monitor & circulate press and social media coverage
- Compile and execute reports to respective clients including weeklies, monthlies, seedings, special projects, and event recaps
- Support in the development of influencer and seeding target lists
- Assist with event organization, logistics and on-site responsibilities
- Oversee client inventory and send outs
- Brainstorm and attend meetings to assist with strategy and provide creative ideas
- Contribute to brand strategy
- Oversee Assistant and Intern level team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience, agency experience a plus but not required
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or Google Workspace: Sheets, Slides, Docs, and Drive
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Superior time management skills, ability to work quickly & efficiently, prioritize and multitask
- Passionate and hardworking
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work onsite at our offices in the Financial District, New York from 9:30a - 6:00p plus client events as needed
- Global mindset and continuous self learner
- Detail oriented with an analytical mindset
- Understanding of influencers and appropriate brand targets
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a can do attitude and the ability to gracefully manage up and down
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
