Job description
At Manulife IT Delivery Center, we are looking for a rock star Associate Quality Engineer who is excited to make our cloud applications highly reliable, resilient, and performing at a stellar level to pursue our ambition in becoming the Digital Customer Leader in the Insurance Industry.
Position Responsibilities
•
Work as part of an agile team, participating in all aspects of the agile process and ceremonies
•
Create automation scripts from scratch
•
Build and execute automation suites
•
Debug automation test results
•
Create config file to integrate to CI/CD
•
Maintain the existing automation framework (feature changes, data, and scripts)
•
Adhere to Quality Engineering processes and documentation throughout the testing cycle
•
Review automation test scripts/code changes to establish best practices for the team
•
Identify tests that provide value
•
Analyze specific problems within the test process and propose effective solutions
•
Participate in test improvement activities that meets business objectives
•
Suggest appropriate business-driven decisions on improvements to the test process
Required Qualifications
•
0-3 years of experience in software test engineering/quality engineering
•
Ability to analyze the requirement, define scope of testing, and derive test scenarios and test cases
•
Experience in test case management, defect management, and test automation tools
•
Understanding of various testing phases
