Overview The role can be primarily based out of our Chelsmford office, with travel into City (Bank) office, twice weekly. At Gallagher, we’re united by a commitment to growth, collaboration, and making a real difference. As a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Enterprise Solutions Division. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to work in a fast-paced, people-focused environment where your expertise will help shape the future of our organisation. How you'll make an impact Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring best practices are followed and business needs are met. Manage complex employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and sickness, while offering clear guidance on policies, procedures, and employment law. Coach and mentor managers to build their confidence and enhance their people management skills, enabling them to handle HR matters effectively. Lead restructuring activities, office closures, and relocations by supporting consultations, preparing documentation, and guiding employees through the process. Support annual HR processes, including performance management, pay reviews, and benefits enrolment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Collaborate with colleagues across teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality HR service, ensuring continuity and consistency. Produce and analyse HR data reports to support decision-making and track casework effectively. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance HR services and processes. About You You have strong experience in employee relations and case management, with a proven ability to handle complex and sensitive cases. You’re confident in providing expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law to managers and employees. You’re a skilled communicator who can build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels. You’re highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You have experience supporting restructuring activities, office closures, or relocations, including consultations and employee support. You’re comfortable working with data, producing reports, and using tools like Excel to track and monitor casework. You’re a team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service. You’re proactive, adaptable, and passionate about helping people succeed.
