Position Overview
Performs diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with policies, values and mission of the organization. Responsible for commonly performed echocardiography procedures with consistent proficiency.
Procedures include
- two dimensional transthoracic echocardiograms
- exercise/dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- agitated saline (bubble) studies
- UEA (ultrasound enhancing agent) echocardiograms
Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
Job Description
EDUCATION: Other: Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: RCS (CCI)-Registered Cardiac Sonographer
OR ARDMS (RDCS AE for adult or RDCS PE for pediatric) BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
OR ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Pay Range is $66.55 to $83.18 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
