Join Our Team as a Cleaner!

We are currently looking for a cleaner for a residential property in Burnaby. This is a full-time position. The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the building’s common areas and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas in residential and commercial buildings
• Perform general cleaning duties including
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and sanitizing surfaces
• Cleaning washrooms and high-touch areas
• Removing garbage and recycling
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests
• Ensure all assigned areas meet company cleanliness standards
• Support team operations and maintain a positive work environment
• Report maintenance or safety concerns when identified
• Assist with coordinating tasks when working within a team environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay rate: $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Tuesday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Start Date: Early July
