Role Overview

The Apprentice Simulator Technician (Intern) will support the readiness and operation of flight simulation training equipment to ensure efficient and reliable performance. The intern will receive hands-on training and work under the supervision of experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist in preparing simulators for daily operation (Operational Readiness Checks)
• Support preventive maintenance activities in accordance with defined schedules
• Learn and assist in conducting Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures as scheduled
• Assist in preparing, loading, and verifying simulation scenarios for training sessions
• Assist in resetting/restarting simulator systems and related equipment under the guidance of engineers when basic issues occur
• Support the maintenance of peripheral systems such as Instructor Stations, Visual Systems, and Computer Systems
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and proper organization of equipment and work areas
• Support documentation tasks, including checklists, maintenance records, and technical logs
• Comply with all safety and quality requirements at all times

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related fields)
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
• Interest in flight simulation, aviation, or control systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in English
• Responsible, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team
