What You'll Do
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Major Account Manager to drive strategic engagements within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in Japan with a dedicated focus on Banks, Tier-1 Financial Institutions, and Insurance Leaders (Life and Non-Life). You will be instrumental in building deep C-suite relationships, crafting tailored solutions, and accelerating the adoption of our advanced networking and security platforms to support critical digital transformation, AI-driven operations, and cloud migration initiatives.
As a Major Account Manager at Arista Networks, you will lead strategic sales engagements with a select group of Banks, insurance conglomerates, and strategic Financial Services (FSI) clients in Japan.
You will act as a trusted advisor, helping both banking and insurance institutions modernize their mission-critical infrastructure to meet strict regional demands for operational resilience, zero-trust security, ultra-low latency, and complex regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Exceed key stakeholder demands with a key Arista account and foster executive level relationship
- You will be responsible for utilizing a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to address the business needs of quantum analytics and the financial trading vertical market by positioning Arista's data-driven product portfolio of Software-Driven High Performance Data Center and AI Networking solutions.
- Meet with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present Arista’s value proposition.
- Work with Arista systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions that drive down the total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions.
- Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
- Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews with your prospects and customers.
This role requires someone comfortable navigating complex financial institutions, managing long enterprise sales cycles, and positioning Arista as a long-term strategic partner.
You are a driven sales leader with a proven track record of pursuing and closing large big bet deals within large enterprise organizations. You will posses:
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience focused on large strategic accounts. Especially to Finance vertical clients.
- Excellent understanding of Japan’s banking technology landscape, compliance drivers, and enterprise procurement processes.
- Bachelor Degree (BA/BS,CS,BBA) or equivalent. MBA desirable.
- Working knowledge of selling networking equipment (Router, Switch, SDN, SD-WAN, Campus Networks, Network Virtualization, NFV,), data center, and/or network automation solutions are prerequisites.
- Native Japanese proficiency is mandatory
- Proven track record of closing major deals with senior stakeholders and influencing long-term relationships at C-level.
- Proven track record of building business plans, documenting the processes, and exceeding sales targets.
- Travel to our customers and regional partners within the territory.
