Who You’ll Work With
This position reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and is responsible for supporting a team of mechanical engineers who use PTC Creo, Windchill, Creo Simulate, ANSYS Icepak, Allegro, Propel, MacroFlow, and LabView. You will help establish, automate, improve, and standardize processes and workflows. In addition, you will provide one-on-one or small-group instruction for new users who previously used other 3D CAD systems, to accelerate learning best practices in Creo and Windchill.
What You’ll Do
- Drive customizations, configurations, and support of MCAD applications (Creo Parametric, Creo Simulate, Windchill).
- Manage and allocate user licenses and support new user onboarding.
- Develop and evangelize best practices, including modeling standards, advanced techniques, design-for-manufacturing (DFM) guidelines, and collaboration workflows.
- Optimize and streamline mechanical engineering workflows by identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and driving adoption of standardized methodologies.
- Develop scripts, automations, mapkeys, and Creo application extensions.
- Establish and maintain design templates, libraries, and configuration standards that promote consistency and reuse across programs.
- Troubleshoot license, server, permissions, and related performance issues with Creo and Windchill.
- AA, BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in PTC Creo and Windchill administration.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design of computer/network equipment designed to operate in data centers is preferred.
- Experience in ECO, BOM and Deviation processes, (Propel experience a plus).
- Proficiency with mechanical design principles, drafting, DFM, and industry-standard product development processes.
- Fluent in English
Compensation Information
The new hire base pay for this role has a pay range of $119,000 to $180,000.
Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista’s Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales. US-based employees are also entitled to benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
