Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible for carrying out operational procurement activities such as quality review, creation and maintenance of purchase and sales requests and orders; provision of customer service, samples administration support and complaints management; supporting invoice verification; ensuring operational systems order related data maintenance; supporting continuous process improvement.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the following tasks:

  • Perform quality control of purchase requests ensure the full required documentation, resolve related issues and creation of purchase orders
  • Provision of customer support by answering inbound queries and complaints regarding Procurement, resolving raised issues or otherwise providing coordination support to direct queries to the appropriate subject matter expert for resolution
  • Support the samples administration process by coordination with the suppliers and requestors to complete the required documentation, scheduling & timing and following up to ensure the samples have been delivered
  • Handling and resolving operational issues related to suppliers such as logistics problems, supplier queries or handling customer requestor queries related to supplier deliveries.
  • Order related data continues data monitoring, validation and continuous update. 
  • Supporting invoice verification functions in case of operationally related questions.
  • Provision of regular and/or customized analysis or reporting related to operational procurement metrics as requested

Qualifications

Education:

  • University degree or equivalent experience (e.g. in Procurement and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customer Services).

Work Experience:

  • Experience in working in a service center environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge Microsoft Applications; knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferable

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Fluent in English and/or German, oral and written (other EU languages will be considered as advantage).
