Purpose of the Role The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of a digital product by defining, developing, and continuously improving it. The role combines strategic thinking with execution, translating business objectives and user needs into a clear product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog. The Product Owner ensures the product team focuses on delivering high-quality solutions that create measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Value Delivery - Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business and platform objectives. - Balance business needs, user needs, technical feasibility, and expected value when making product decisions. - Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business value and strategic priorities. - Monitor product performance, user adoption, and business KPIs, adjusting priorities where needed. - Identify opportunities for product improvements, innovation, and lifecycle management. Product Team Leadership - Provide direction and priorities to the product team to maximize value delivery. - Ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood by the development team. - Foster alignment and engagement around product goals and priorities. - Identify future capacity or capability needs and communicate these proactively.
