Chane Westerhoofd specializes in the storage and transshipment of liquid bulk products, including refined petroleum products, fuel oil and biofuels. Because we work with hazardous substances, high standards apply in the areas of safety, environment and quality. As Teamlead Operations, you play an important role in this. You are visibly present on the terminal, support operators in their daily activities and ensure that everyone works safely and in accordance with the rules. You are the first point of contact for your team and contribute to a working environment in which colleagues help each other, hold each other accountable and continuously improve. This is a day shift position for which some flexibility in working hours is required. What will you do at Chane?

• Daily management, guidance and coaching of a team of operators; - Coordinating operational activities such as loading and unloading vessels, tank trucks and containers; - Supervising the safe execution of work in accordance with procedures, permits and laws and regulations; - Monitoring the progress and quality of work and making adjustments where necessary; - Identifying risks and proposing improvements in the areas of safety, quality and efficiency; - Actively contributing to a strong safety culture at the terminal; - Acting as a point of contact for operators, contractors and colleagues from other departments; - Supporting the development and training of employees; - Encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
