About the Company
They build a financial operating system for global businesses — corporate cards, cross-border payments, and spend management in one platform. They operate across 20+ countries, serve over 5,000 clients from venture-backed startups to SMBs, and have raised over $380M from Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, CRV, Tencent, and founders of more than 15 unicorns including David Velez (Nubank), Carlos Garcia (Kavak), and Sebastián Mejía (Rappi). Recognized by The Information as one of the 50 Most Promising Startups in 2023.
The Role
You'll own the stablecoin and digital asset product strategy — defining how blockchain rails transform cross-border payments, treasury management, and settlement for global businesses. This is a senior IC role with full ownership of the roadmap, from which rails to build on and which stablecoins to support, through to launch and iteration. You'll work with engineering, design, legal, compliance, and commercial teams across multiple markets.
What You'll Do
Stablecoin Product Strategy
•
Own the stablecoin product roadmap: which rails to build on, which stablecoins to support, and how they integrate into payments and treasury workflows
•
Build institutional-grade infrastructure that abstracts blockchain complexity while preserving speed and cost advantages for end users
•
Drive the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch, collaborating across engineering, design, legal, compliance, and commercial teams
Cross-Border Payments & Treasury
•
Build products that let businesses send, receive, convert, and hold stablecoins alongside fiat across USD, EUR, BRL, MXN, and local currency corridors
•
Design on/off-ramp flows that feel as simple as traditional banking, even for users who have never touched crypto
•
Ensure interoperability with fiat rails (ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT, SEPA, PIX, SPEI) so stablecoins become a natural extension of existing payment infrastructure
Compliance, Risk & Custody
•
Navigate US state licensing, MiCA, and LatAm crypto regulations to ship compliant products across every market
•
Embed AML/KYC, Travel Rule, and transaction monitoring requirements into the product from day one
•
Evaluate wallet infrastructure, custodians, and key management solutions that meet institutional-grade security standards
Partnerships & Go-to-Market
•
Evaluate and manage partnerships with stablecoin issuers, liquidity providers, custodians, and banking partners
•
Enable Sales and Customer Success to position stablecoin products with CFOs and treasury teams
•
Track adoption metrics and prioritize ruthlessly based on data and business impact
What We're Looking For
Required
•
4+ years in product management at a stablecoin infrastructure provider, crypto exchange, cross-border payments company, or fintech building on blockchain rails
•
Deep stablecoin expertise: issuance and redemption mechanics, reserve models, on-chain settlement, ecosystem dynamics, and how stablecoins interact with treasury flows and FX
•
Strong understanding of fiat rails — ACH, wires, RTP, SWIFT, SEPA, PIX, SPEI — including reconciliation, settlement timing, and fiat conversions alongside stablecoin flows
•
Blockchain infrastructure literacy: EVM chains, Solana, Layer 2s, wallet architecture, key management, and custody; able to work directly with engineers on API docs and system design
•
Regulatory fluency: AML/KYC, Travel Rule, MiCA, US state-by-state licensing, and how compliance requirements vary by jurisdiction
•
Analytical rigor: comfortable with SQL, dashboards, and building data-driven business cases
•
Exceptional written communication: can produce strategy memos and product specs that align cross-functional stakeholders
Strongly Preferred
•
Track record of owning complex, regulated financial products from concept through production at scale
•
Relationships in the stablecoin ecosystem — issuers, custodians, liquidity providers, or regulators
•
Experience with multi-market products serving LatAm, US, and/or European customers
•
Familiarity with developer platforms, API design, and ecosystem-driven products
•
Background in traditional payments or banking
Location
Based in Latin America. Full-time remote.
If you want to work on infrastructure that moves real money for real businesses across 20+ countries — and you're convinced stablecoins are how global payments get fixed — this is the role.
