Job description
About the Company
They're building the finance-first operating system for education in Latin America.
More than 1,000 schools across Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador use their platform to manage payments, billing, academic operations, communication, and financial workflows in a single place.
Following the acquisition of Algebraix, the company now owns one of the most comprehensive Student Information Systems (SIS) in the region. The opportunity ahead is not simply maintaining an existing product — it's transforming it into the operational backbone for schools across Latin America while modernizing how it's built, scaled, and integrated.
The Role
You'll become the owner of a large, mature software platform used daily by school administrators, teachers, parents, and students.
Your mission is to bring product thinking, prioritization, structure, and long-term vision to a platform that already has significant adoption but still has enormous room to improve.
You'll own the roadmap, product strategy, and evolution of the Algebraix platform while partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Operations, and Leadership.
What You'll Do
•
Own the product vision and roadmap for Algebraix's Student Information System.
•
Drive product decisions across multiple modules including Student Management, Academic Operations, Scheduling, Grades & Reporting, Teacher Management, Parent Communication, School Administration, and Analytics & Insights.
•
Partner closely with Engineering to modernize the platform while maintaining stability for existing customers.
•
Identify product opportunities across multiple user personas: school administrators, teachers, parents, and students.
•
Define how different product modules interact and evolve together.
•
Drive requirements, prioritization, product discovery, and roadmap planning.
•
Work with Customer Success and Sales teams to understand operational pain points and user needs.
•
Help define a scalable product architecture that enables future expansion across Latin America.
•
Support major product initiatives including localization, integrations, and platform modernization.
•
Bring structure, product discipline, and long-term thinking into an organization that is rapidly scaling.
Must-Haves
•
5+ years of Product Management experience.
•
Experience managing complex B2B SaaS products with multiple workflows, modules, and user personas.
•
Background working on products such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, SIS, workflow management platforms, operations software, or enterprise SaaS.
•
Strong experience owning products end-to-end, from discovery through delivery.
•
Ability to work comfortably with APIs, integrations, and technical teams.
•
Strong systems thinking and ability to understand relationships between different product areas.
•
Experience balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
•
High autonomy and ownership.
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•
Professional English proficiency.
Nice to Have
•
Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS).
•
Experience in education technology.
•
Experience managing legacy products undergoing modernization.
•
Exposure to multi-country product environments.
•
Experience working with platform products serving multiple user personas.
•
Familiarity with AI-powered workflows and automation.
•
Previous experience building product functions from scratch.
You're a Great Fit If You...
•
Enjoy solving complex operational problems.
•
Can think beyond individual features and understand how entire systems work together.
•
Are excited by products with multiple user types, workflows, and dependencies.
•
Like bringing structure to environments that are scaling quickly.
•
Are comfortable operating without a detailed playbook.
•
Can move between strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.
•
Want ownership over a large, business-critical product area.
•
See ambiguity as an opportunity rather than a blocker.
Why This Role Matters
The Student Information System is becoming one of the most strategic products in the company.
It powers the daily operations of hundreds of schools and serves as the foundation upon which future financial products, communication tools, academic workflows, and operational services will be built.
Your work will directly influence how schools across Latin America operate every day.
Why Join
•
Own one of the most important product areas in the company.
•
Direct exposure to executive leadership.
•
Potential path into Head of Product leadership.
•
Remote-first culture across LATAM.
•
Competitive USD compensation.
•
Opportunity to shape the future of education technology in Latin America.
•
High ownership, high impact, and real product influence from day one.
