ABOUT THE JOB
As Senior Strategic Martech Advisor , you will join IMPACT's Martech practice – contributing to the long-term vision, standardising methodology, and driving innovation. You enter the room deeply prepared on trends, emerging technology, and each client's business reality. Clients invest in complex, high-value solutions and expect to see revenue impact quickly - your job is to bridge technical depth and strategic clarity so every engagement delivers measurable commercial outcomes. You will shape go-to-market strategies, secure vendor partnerships, and mentor senior consultants to build internal expertise.

•
Define and execute data strategies aligned with client business objectives - from martech stack selection to measurement frameworks and personalisation maturity
•
Serve as the trusted advisor and translator for C-suite stakeholders (CMOs, CDOs, CTOs) - turning complex data and martech landscapes into clear commercial roadmaps that demonstrate concrete revenue impact
•
Shape and oversee delivery of complex technical projects across cross-functional teams, owning quality from kick-off to handover
•
Identify and develop new business within existing accounts and define value propositions for enterprise prospects
•
Partner with technology vendors to build strategic alliances and co-marketing opportunities
•
Explore and find answers to how martech converges with AI
•
Design go-to-market strategies that position IMPACT as a premier digital transformation partner
•
Contribute strongly to IMPACT's point of view on Data & Martech - through reusable frameworks, thought leadership, events, and vendor relationships
•
Collaborate across practices (Commerce, Experience, Strategy) to create integrated cross-department solutions
•
Mentor colleagues to build internal expertise
YOUR PROFILE
We imagine you bring
•
8–10+ years in digital advisory, management consulting, or senior in-house roles focused on data strategy and marketing technology
•
Deep knowledge of CDPs, marketing automation, personalisation platforms, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
•
Hands-on experience with marketing and loyalty platforms such as Bloomreach, Salesforce, Adobe, TalonOne, Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, and Voyado
•
Proficiency in designing data architectures for omnichannel environments, including web analytics and server-side tracking
•
Experience with AI integration (bespoke and commercial) into business processes and martech workflows
•
Strong financial acumen - practice P&L management, business cases, and TCO translation
•
Excellent communication skills - able to present complex technical roadmaps to C-suite executives with confidence and clarity
•
A track record of scaling data practices within a consultancy and driving measurable commercial outcomes for enterprise clients
