About the Role

Reporting to the Aftersales Service Planning Senior Specialist, this Aftersales Network Planning Specialist is responsible for supporting the strategic planning and optimization of the service network, with a strong focus on service facility development, capacity planning, facility design and brand Corporate Identity (CI). The role ensures that the aftersales network is appropriately sized, located, and equipped to meet current and future customer demand while driving ongoing operational efficiency and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Network Planning & Strategy

Support the execution of Aftersales Network strategies aligned with business growth targets.

Analyze market data, vehicle parc trends, and service retention to determine service capacity requirements.

Support with report development to Identify gaps in service coverage and recommend network expansion.

Report individual Dealership plans to ensure timelines are on track.

  • Service Capacity Planning

Develop and maintain service capacity models, including workshop throughput, technician headcount, and bay allocation.

Forecast future service demand and align capacity planning with sales projections and car parc growth.

Monitor and report on capacity utilization across the network, highlighting constraints and optimization opportunities.

  • Service Facility Development

Support planning and implementation of new service facilities, expansions, and upgrades.

Support feasibility studies, business cases, and analysis for facility investments.

Ensure facility designs align with brand standards, operational efficiency, and customer experience requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement (CI) Planning & Monitoring

Support the development and rollout of CI initiatives aimed at improving workshop efficiency, utilization, and customer experience.

Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis, dealer feedback, and performance trends.

Assist in establishing CI frameworks, tools, and standard operating procedures across the network.

  • CI Reporting & Performance Tracking

Monitor and report on CI initiatives, including tracking benefits realization (e.g., productivity gains, reduced wait times, improved utilization).

Develop reporting tools to provide visibility of CI performance across the network.

Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive continuous operational improvements.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track key aftersales KPIs such as service throughput, workshop efficiency, utilization rates, and customer wait times.

Prepare regular reports and to support decision-making.

Provide insights and recommendations to improve service capacity and operational performance.

  • Dealer & Stakeholder Support

Coordinate / Support with communication related to network changes, facility upgrades, and improvement programs.

  • Compliance & Standards

Support with reporting on service facility status and action measurement.

Support audit reporting and process to ensure adherence to facility and operational standards.

Maintain accurate records of facility specifications, capacity data, CI initiatives, and planning documentation.

  • Project Coordination

Assist in managing aftersales network and CI-related projects, including timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment.

Monitor project progress and escalate risks or delays as needed.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience in capacity modelling and performance analysis

Advanced Excel skills (data modelling, forecasting, dashboards)

Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to translate data into actionable insights

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in automotive dealership or OEM environment is highly desirable

Experience with planning, forecasting, or operational improvement initiatives preferred
